Isabelle Pigeard de Gurbert
Former substitute teacher in Classics in the French National system and French teacher for migrants (teenagers/ adults) during 15 years, I have been teaching French A Language and Literature for the International Baccalaureate since 2017 (in the Diploma Programme) and I have been a tutor in French Literature, also for the IB, since 2020. I have always been passionate about education, pedagogy, language, discrimination, inclusion, rights, and political systems. I am a passionate teacher and a huge fan of teenagers that I find intriguing, true, fragile, and powerful at the same time. To me, an international education is the best way to raise consciousness, inclusion, and to open minds and hearts, all things we really need more and more.
